Liability Waiver for Test Rides

I agree to the following terms and will use the test bike provided to me accordingly:

  1. I am at least 18 years old. Minors may only take part with the consent of, and accompanied by, a legal guardian.

  2. If the test bike is a fast e-bike (S-pedelec, pedal assistance up to 45 km/h), I confirm that I hold a valid driving licence of category M or higher and will present it on request. I am aware that these vehicles require a number plate, that wearing a helmet is mandatory and that special traffic rules apply.

  3. All information I have provided about myself is complete and correct. On request, I will deposit an official identity document for the duration of the test ride.

  4. I accept responsibility for the test bike loaned to me. In the event of loss or of damage caused by my negligence, I am liable for the cost of repair or replacement.

  5. I will return the test bike at the agreed time to the place of issue and will not let any third party use it during the test ride.

  6. The operation of the test bike has been explained to me and all my questions have been answered. If I notice damage or a malfunction during use, I will stop the ride and contact the staff immediately.

  7. I am aware that cycling involves risks and that I may injure myself in a fall. I will wear a helmet for the entire test ride.

  8. I will not ride under the influence of alcohol, drugs or medication that impairs my ability to ride.

  9. I am aware that cycling is subject to road traffic legislation, and I undertake to comply with it.

  10. The test ride is undertaken at my own risk. intercycle ag's liability for damage incurred by me or by third parties during the test ride is excluded to the extent permitted by law. Liability for intent and gross negligence, liability for personal injury and liability under the Swiss Product Liability Act (PrHG) remain unaffected.

  11. The privacy policy for test rides of intercycle ag applies to the processing of my personal data.

I have read and understood this agreement in full and accept it of my own free will.
