In urban traffic, weight determines how mobile you really are. At 15.8 kg, the District-E2 is exceptionally light and can even be carried up a flight of stairs. The Mahle X30 hub motor and the 237-watt-hour battery are designed for the distances a city bike actually covers. The Shimano CUES 1x11 groupset provides the range needed for climbs. The motor and battery blend into the design, preserving the District’s clean lines. It is aimed at anyone who wants assistance but not a bike that looks like it has it.
