Race pace, even when it gets technical.
A race bike comes into its own when the course gets more technical than expected. The Pace X uses the same Superlight carbon frame with 115 mm travel as the LTD, but opts for DT Swiss suspension with an F 232 One fork and R 232 One shock, both with 3-position remote control. Wireless Shimano XTR handles the shifting, while XTR two-piston brakes provide the stopping power. The key difference is the seatpost: it is dropper-adjustable, providing noticeably more control on steep or rocky descents. At 10.7 kg, the Pace X is in the weight class where races are won.
