A mid-step frame often determines how frequently a bike is used. The District EQ 1 GOR offers the same low-maintenance setup as the EQ 1, with a mid-step frame that makes mounting and dismounting easier, even with a bag or coat. The Gates Carbon Drive and Shimano Alfine hub gears with eleven speeds operate without oil and can be shifted while stationary. Lights, mudguards and a rear rack are fitted as standard, and the hub dynamo eliminates the need for batteries. The Schwalbe G-One tyres in 700x40C roll quietly and provide grip in wet conditions. At 14.2 kg, it remains a bike you can grab at any time without a second thought.
