Getting started in the park does not require a top-of-the-line model, but something that can take a beating. The Stomp 2 shares its steel frame with threaded bottom bracket cups and adjustable dropouts with the other versions, making it just as easy to repair. It runs as a singlespeed on 26-inch wheels, with a Manitou Circus Comp offering 100 mm of travel up front. The mechanical disc brakes and SRAM crank keep the bike simple and serviceable anywhere if needed, while the 780 mm-wide Satori handlebar provides control on takeoff. It is the bike on which you learn your first jump and practice the next hundred.
