The 2026 racing season is about to begin—and BIXS is realigning its teams. With a new name, an optimized structure, and clear competitive goals, the BIXS Race Team (BRT) will kick off the new season this coming weekend at the first round of the Skoda Swiss Bike Cup on Monte Tamaro.
The team, which competed under the name BIXS Performance Race Team until 2025, will now unite the three disciplines of cross-country, gravel, and enduro under one roof.
In addition to long-term athletic goals, foremost among them Mission 28—through which the team aims to compete successfully at the 2028 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles—the team also sees itself as an ambassador for the BIXS slogan “Recharge your mind.” The slogan highlights the positive aspects of cycling as a source of inner strength and mental balance. This mindset shapes the team’s identity and forms the foundation for mental strength and athletic success.
“We’re heading into the new season with a lot of positivity, motivation, and energy. One team, three disciplines—this gives us the opportunity to strengthen synergies within the team and position our brand even more strongly in international racing,” explains Team Manager Lukas Flückiger.& “We want to take a step forward this year and are aiming for cross-country podium finishes as well as more top-10 placings,” Flückiger continues regarding the season’s goals. For the 2026 season, the BIXS Race Team brings together a total of eleven riders across three racing disciplines:

Focus on top international races and home races
In terms of racing, the BIXS Race Team will focus in 2026 on the Cross-Country World Cup events as well as on selected national racing highlights in Switzerland. These include, in particular, the World Cup races of the international UCI Mountain Bike World Cup series, where the team will now compete as a UCI World Series Team, as well as the races of the two national series, BIKE REVOLUTION and the Skoda Swiss Bike Cup.
Following the season opener in South Korea, the main highlight will be the tenth edition of the Cross-Country Mountain Bike World Cup in Lenzerheide from June 19 to 21, 2026—the Anniversary Edition X. The event in Graubünden marks the start of a major racing block running from mid-June to mid-July, before the European Championships take place at the end of July, also in Switzerland, at Monte Tamaro. The World Championships will follow at the end of August in Val di Sole, Italy.
In the gravel category, the focus is on the Gravel Earth series and UCI races. The highlights include the Wörthersee Gravel in April, The Traka in early May, and The Ranxo in June, while the three enduro riders are competing in the Swiss Enduro Series (SES) and the UCI Enduro World Cup (EDR).
New Partners Strengthen the Team
As the new season kicks off, several new partners are supporting the BIXS Race Team: Continental (tires), ABUS (helmets), Gobik (racing apparel), Winforce (nutrition), FSA (stems and handlebars), iXS (team apparel), and Zibatra Logistik (partner and service provider of the Swiss distributor intercycle ag).
At the same time, the team would like to thank its existing partners for their long-standing trust and ongoing support. These partnerships form a central foundation for the team’s athletic development. With its new structure, motivated athletes, and a strong network of partners, the BIXS Race Team is looking forward to the 2026 season with confidence.
Kickoff This Coming Weekend
On Sunday, March 22, 2026, the Cross-Country Team will kick off its season with the Tamaro Trophy at the Skoda Swiss Bike Cup, marking its first race on Swiss soil. The Gravel Team will get underway a week later at “The Hills” in Italy.
