Congratulations on your new BIXS bike!

At BIXS, our commitment to quality, durability and functionality is our top priority - this applies to the selection of our materials, our manufacturing processes and the Swiss design of our bikes. We want you to have many years of untroubled riding fun and enjoyment with your BIXS bike. We therefore ask you to follow a few important instructions, which you can find here (and in your manual).

BIXS bikes are only delivered pre-assembled to retailers. Your authorized BIXS retailer will carry out the final bike set-up, including individual adjustments to the suspension, gears and brakes.

As the buyer, the end customer, you are directly addressed and informed of these warranty conditions.

 

BIXS Garantiebestimmungen:

1. Manufacturer's warranty
As the first purchaser, you receive the warranty services in compliance with the following conditions:

2. Products covered by the warranty
The warranty applies to BIXS frames and components. It only covers new products purchased from a BIXS dealer.

3. Duration of the warranty
BIXS provides the following warranty periods from the date of purchase:

Frame: 2 years (statutory warranty) + 3 years (additional warranty years offered by us)
Other BIXS products: 2 years

4. Exclusion of the warranty
Certain circumstances lead to a guarantee exclusion:

• Technical changes without the consent of BIXS
• Use of incompatible or non-original parts
• Wearing parts and damage due to improper use or maintenance
• Damage caused by weathering or normal wear and tear.

5. Scope of the warranty
BIXS is obliged to either repair or replace any damage claims with equivalent parts within the warranty period. Services not covered by the warranty will be charged for.

6. Assertion of guarantee claims
Warranty claims must be submitted to the authorized BIXS-retailer →  upon receipt of the proof of purchase ( filled out warranty claim form).

7. Severability clause
Should any provision of this guarantee be invalid, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.

8. Applicable law and jurisdiction
This guarantee is subject to the Swiss law. The exclusive place of jurisdiction is 6210 Sursee.
