The BIXS Performance Race Team (BPRT) is starting its third cross-country season in 2024 with a new, fresh appearance in alignment with the new BIXS image. With the team's internal “Mission 25” in sight, the successful participation in the 2025 Mountain Bike World Championships in Valais, the team will reach a significant milestone this year: the qualification for the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, which will be decided at the first three World Cup races.

The team is being enriched by young talents

Once again this year, the elite athletes Marcel Guerrini, Joel Roth, Seraina Leugger and Timon Rüegg are reaching for the stars with the BPRT. Their ranks are strengthened by the young talents Muriel Furrer, Micha Alder, Yannick Binz and Gian Schmid. BIXS is passionately committed to supporting these young bearers of hope in order to give them a successful future in professional racing and thereby strengthen MTB cycling in the long term.

New sponsors support the team

Thanks to valuable existing partnerships and four new sponsors, the BPRT is entering the upcoming racing season in a stronger position. The new clothing partner from 2024 is Milremo, a manufacturer of personalized, high-quality cycling clothing. In the components sector, Kind Shock has joined as a supplier of high-quality seatposts and Newmen with innovative handlebars and stems. Garage Gautschi AG provides mobility away from the race track, equipping the team with new vehicles such as the VW ID.Buzz.
