At BIXS, the commitment to quality, durability, and functionality comes first - this applies to the selection of our materials, our manufacturing processes, and the Swiss design of our bikes. We want you to enjoy many years of untroubled riding pleasure and joy with your BIXS bike. For this, we ask you to pay attention to some important notes that you will find here (and in your manual).
BIXS bicycles are delivered exclusively pre-assembled to the specialist trade. The final ride readiness, including individual adjustments of suspension, gears, and brakes, is carried out by your authorized BIXS dealer.
As a purchaser, end customer, you are addressed directly and made familiar with these warranty provisions.
BIXS Warranty Terms:
1. Manufacturer Warranty
As a first-time buyer, you receive warranty services according to the following conditions:
2. Products Covered by the Warranty
The warranty applies to BIXS frames and components. It is valid only for new products purchased from a BIXS dealer .
3. Warranty Duration
BIXS grants the following warranty periods from the purchase date:
Frame: 2 years (legally required warranty) + 3 years (additional warranty years granted by us)
Other BIXS products: 2 years
4. Warranty Exclusion
Certain circumstances lead to a warranty exclusion:
Technical changes without BIXS's consent
Use of incompatible or non-original parts
Wear parts and damage due to improper use or maintenance
Damage due to weather influences or normal wear.
5. Scope of Warranty Services
BIXS commits to repair or replace with equivalent parts damage claims within the warranty period. Services not covered by the warranty will be charged.
6. Claiming Warranty
Warranty claims must be submitted to an authorized BIXS dealer with the purchase receipt (completed warranty application form).
7. Severability Clause
Should any provision of this warranty be ineffective, the validity of the remaining provisions shall not be affected.
8. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
This warranty is subject to Swiss law. The exclusive place of jurisdiction is 6210 Sursee.
